Well, with a largely shattered engine, that will take some time to get the required machine work and parts together.. When you lose a block, pistons, rods, and a crank, you need to do a lot just to get something together to put heads on. And oh yes, we bent some valves too, so that has to be done.
But we do have a sponsor paying for the engine, so that is good...
However in the meantime, we need points, and we have had a spare motor in the trailer for quite a while, so that is now back in the car. The engine is no slug, but it isn't as trick as the one we just totaled. However this engine will get the car down the track respectably.
So the car is in Stanton Michigan at the Mid Michigan Motorplex for the 2 day divisional. And Stock goes out pretty early Saturday morning, so we can see how the car runs with the spare motor.
